Now for the exciting news! I am launching a mommy blog to continue documenting my journey into motherhood. It has a different blog address and a fabulous new design thanks to Diana Rambles at Custom Blog Designs. It is still under construction while I transfer some stuff over and set up widgets, but I figure it's not too early to start building my readership there. Please register for an email subscription so you can get the announcement of the big unveiling. I don't want to lose any of you! I am planning some cool things for the blog launch, including a giveaway, after Marlie arrives. I'll see you on the flip side real soon!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Looking forward to reading your new one; congratulations soon-to-be-mama!

Congrats on your new blog and your new baby! How exciting! Came over from SITS... have a great weekend.
Awww! There's just something about the cute face of a tiny abandoned kitty that melts hearts. -sigh-
Yes, I'm a cat lady. Wait. That didn't sound good.... haha
Happy SITS-S-S!
Awww...I love cats. I love all animals though.
Your new blog is ADORABLE! I'm signing up.
Have a great weekend!
Of course you're ready for mommyhood - the kitten solidifies it! Every baby animal needs a momma, including kittens.
When Jack was born I started new blogs, too - one for him and one for me. I was actually trying to keep my identity that way; I wasn't ready to give in to only being Jack's mom. I wanted to remember my name.
Anyway, how exciting! I can't wait to see the new blog!
As an animal person in general, but in particular a cat person, I am proud of those mothering instincts that have emerged from you!!! Thanks for saving that little baby and giving it a chance to find a forever home!!
I subscribed to your new blog, it looks great over there!
I like cats and dogs. My son is allergic to cats and I kind of miss having them around.
How are you feeling? I remember this time well. Very exciting!
Because no matter how strange we find some animals to be, I think instinct (like you said, motherhood) takes over and we DO CARE about creatures that are defenseless. :) You did the right thing.
You are so cute!! I LOVE KATS!! (hense the name of my blog, Krazy Kat Lady) but I can completely understand why people don't like them..PLUS..you are allergic. I'm sure it's your mommy sense kicking into high gear. Taking care of something helpless. Hope he gets a good home!! And you are sweet to try to save him.
